For additional accommodation off site the easiest option for guests is Sesimbra, just 6 miles/10km drive, it has a 200 room Sheraton 4 points, 100 room Oceanfront 5 star, 100 room Sana Hotel on the beach, 170 room Hotel do Mar (a bit dated). During August we advise lodging guests in Lisbon.

There are various AirBnB villas and rooms nearby, including Quinta da Barra, our neighbour sleeps up to 20, Arrabida Country Retreat (5 mins) sleeps 8 adults + 3 children.

The Best Room

Family Suites Ze Carlos & Laura

We have 2 family suites both with a double bedroom and a twin or triple bedroom. Upstairs Suite Ze Carlos has a single bathroom with a bathtub whilst Suite Laura downstairs has 2 shower rooms and sleeps 5 in total, so is suitable for families with 3 children. 

Superior Double Rooms

We have 2 Superior double bedrooms both with high ceilings, nice views and antique furniture. Quarto Maria Ines has a bathroom with bath tub and a four poster bed. Suite Babela has a separate bedroom and lounge with single sofabed and an ensuite shower room.

Standard Double Rooms

We have 2 standard doubles located on the lower level. Both are comfortable and well appointed with ensuite shower room. Suite das Armas has a separate bedroom and living room with a single sofa bed, direct and step free access to the garden.  Quarto Mateus is located just off the old kitchen / breakfast room. It has a single sofabed. 

Standard Twin Rooms

We have three twin bedrooms each with ensuite shower room. On the upper floor Quarto dos Pais has high ornate ceilings, nice views and it’s own internal staircase up to the shower room. It has 2 single beds adjacent to each other. On the lower level Suite Joao Vasco has a separate twin bedroom and living room with sofa bed, and step free access to the garden. Quarto Emilia is adjacent to the kitchen / breakfast room, the 2 single beds are some distance apart.  

Pateo Rooms

We have 4 pateo rooms, 2 twins and two doubles each with its own bathroom.  

Meals and Parties

For all groups and parties we have range of catering options at your disposal ranging from just breakfast, full board, pool parties, BBQ’s and welcome dinners. Starting in Spring 2026 is our new poolside bar / cafe / restaurant which will serve food and drink to guests during their stay. For larger groups, meals should be preordered in advance to guarantee service.  

Whilst staying at the Quinta, we have a range of meal and snack options available from the bar or ordered in advance and served to your whole group. We will be happy to send you the list of options, however there will always be food and drinks available from the poolside bar for guests staying with us.   

Please note all meal and bar requirements for groups of more than 50 guests need to be confirmed at least 2 months before arrival including the total numbers and any food preferences (vegans, vegetarians etc), nutritional requirements or food allergies to guarantee the service. For groups between 12 and 50 please let us know one month before arrival and for smaller groups, there are various options available without preorder at the bar. 

Our Service

We have a small team who are passionate about making your stay as special as we can. Our aim to make you feel welcome, at home and to help you enjoy your time here. We are not an hotel with an army of staff on hand day and night, but we always do our personal best to provide what our guests want. Please let us know in advance if you require something in particular during your stay and we will be happy to arrange it for you.  

Housekeeping & Laundry Service

As a rule we do not disturb guests in their rooms after they have checked in without prior agreement, therefore if you require any room cleaning, fresh towels or anything else please let us know at breakfast time.  If you require any laundry or ironing services during your stay please deliver the items to a member of the housekeeping team during breakfast service with precise washing instructions. Our team will be happy to machine wash and dry machine washable and dryable clothes for a small charge however we will not accept any precious or delicate items which can be sent to the professional dry cleaning service (5asec) in the local town next to the Intermarche Supermarket.
